Largest Asian American Professional Organization in North America Elects New Officers and Sets Location for 2009 Convention

LOS ANGELES (September 26, 2008) – The National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) welcomes new officers for its 2008 – 2010 term.
At the 22nd Annual NAAAP convention in August, the National Board elected a new President and Executive Vice President, and reelected the Vice President of Chapter Operations, Secretary and Treasurer.
The elected officers are: Mr. Brad Baldia succeeding the position of NAAAP National President, Mr. Leland Cheung as Executive Vice President, Mr. Hector Javier will continue in the role of Vice President of Chapter Operations, Ms. Alice Kim will continue to serve as National Secretary and Ms. Virginia Hwang as National Treasurer
Effective immediately following the 22nd NAAAP National Convention, the newly elected officers of the NAAAP National Administration will assume their positions and work towards providing a unified front in the promotion and growth of the largest pan-Asian, pan-professional leadership development organization in North America.
In addition, NAAAP is pleased to announce that the 2009 National Convention will be hosted by the NAAAP Colorado chapter in Denver, Colorado. The 2009 National Convention theme will be: “Leadership at New Heights : Cultivating Leaders for Today and Beyond.”
