You know what they say: For every underage Indian kid performing difficult tasks on national television and succeeding, you have an underage Indian kid performing difficult tasks on national television and has a tiny mental meltdown. Take for example Neil, a contestant on Jeopardy’s Kids Week who buzzes in for an answer, has two epileptic seizures, briefly thinks he’s on Wheel of Fortune by asking for a vowel, and then says “nevermind” in the most defeated way possible, to the point where Alex Trebek tells him to keep it together before the show ends. ALEX TREBEK IS TELLING A TEN YEAR OLD KID TO KEEP IT TOGETHER.
Unbelievably, he ends the show in second place even though he goes in the negative twice. Good for Neil and for the show, as all the tweets of people commenting on him freaking the hell out briefly made “Jeopardy” a trending topic on Twitter. Bring him back for another episode, I say! Maybe we’ll see him faint.
