Jason Li, a previously blogged about Vancouver hockey fan rioter has apologized through YouTube about his involvement in the Vancouver hockey riots. If the reaction has been anything like the comments on his YouTube page, let’s just say there’s not going to be any water under any bridges for a good long time.
See, it’s also ironic that he’s apologizing through the Internet — the very same medium where a circulated photo of him breaking a window had him identified by peers and got him expelled from school. I’m also slightly disappointed about the fact that he isn’t screaming into the camera as how we’ve seen him previously. Or breaking the video camera with a hockey stick. But at least he’s not fake-crying.
So, angry, unrepentant Internet Mob: what say you? Forgive and forget, or ban him from the Canadian Olympic team? Oh wait, wrong rioter.
