We have an internal email list at 8Asians, and our very own Eddy Hong let us know that he stars in a new commercial for StreamateParty.com. I love the fact that in the commercial, Eddy is just surrounded by scantily clad enamored women of all types seeking his attention and affection – like they all had some sort of big orgy the night before. However, this fantasy quickly disappears and is only virtual as Eddy grabs his laptop to log into and checks out StreamateParty.com.
Internally, some, including myself, wondered if this would only perpetuate yet another depiction of a nerdy Asian male who can’t get girls. However, there’s a one minute commercial for a sister site StreamateTV.com depicting nerdy men of all races in a hilarious way (even more NSFW):

After seeing that commercial, I was like, can you get even any less subtle? Somehow, I don’t think the “hottest single women” will happen to be on any of Streamate’s sites, because they don’t need to be! Congrats to Eddy in starring in a pretty damn funny commercial!
