Harold & Kumar Remind Americans To Watch Obama At The Democratic National Convention

The Republican National Convention nominating Mitt Romney as their presidential candidate, and the Republicans had their very awkward Hollywood moment with Clint Eastwood. Well, ahead of President Obama’s speech coming up this Thursday to accept the official Democratic nomination, his campaign team has launched this web video featuring Kal Penn and John Cho reprising their roles as Harold & Kumar. In the real world, Kal Penn will be hosting the Democratic National Convention Thursday.

As you may know, Kal Penn is a big supporter of Obama and worked for the administration for almost two years  as Associate Director of Public Engagement as the Liaison to Young Americans, the Arts, and Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. In 2008, the Obama campaign team pioneered the use of the Internet to raise a record amount of money as well as organize a grassroots campaign via the Internet. No doubt, this web video will go viral amongst the younger demographic, as Harold & Kumar is a cult classic in the 18 to 35 year-old (and beyond) demographic.

About John

I'm a Taiwanese-American and was born & raised in Western Massachusetts, went to college in upstate New York, worked in Connecticut, went to grad school in North Carolina and then moved out to the Bay Area in 1999 and have been living here ever since - love the weather and almost everything about the area (except the high cost of housing...)
