Ask The Last Airbender’s M. Night Shyamalan A Question!

Upset about the racist casting behind M. Night Shyamalan’s feature adaptation of The Last Airbender? He evaded the issue in a roundtable discussion before, but perhaps this time the director will be forced to address the white-washing of his cast in Time. The magazine is offering readers a chance to submit an interview question online to Shyamalan for an upcoming issue, and the comments section are already filled with submissions knocking his casting decisions.

We encourage you to send in your own — and keep it civil! Hopefully, an overwhelming amount of educated questions about his white-washing will force Shyamalan to answer directly to fans of the beloved series. And then maybe he can start making good movies.

The Last Airbender opens on July 1st–but who cares, right? Join the boycott against the film and spend that $15 on something better, like a  fundraiser to buy myself the new iPhone 4.

About Moye

I am a Japanese-American girl who was born, raised and is most probably stuck in traffic right this second in Los Angeles. I'm currently one of the co-editors of 8Asians and like to distract myself with good food, reading long books, playing video games, catching up on celebrity news, choosing my new new haircut and then writing all about it on Hello Moye and sometimes here on Twitter if I can get it in under 140 words or less.
