The 8Asians Talk About: Jon Gosselin’s Dragon Tattoo

Our internal e-mail lists have us discussing all kinds of stuff: Asian American identity, representation in the media, the experiences of activism in an academia setting and its progression as we transition to the working, adult world.

And sometimes, we talk about this:

Moye: Someone please, please, please snark this: Jon Gosselin Debuts New Dragon Tattoo on his Back.
Efren: I think Angry Asian Man said it best when he said he didn’t have time to even look at it, and he didn’t even care. I think you can’t top that.
Edward: Ninja PLEASE.
Jee: I’m trying to make out the Korean words in the tattoo but alas, it’s not clear enough.
Ernie: Thanks to Google Translate, I think I found it! YOU’RE WELCOME.

I, for one, don’t see what the big deal is: I think it goes well with his shoulder yin-yang with rays, and will compliment the eventual tramp stamp he’ll get on his lower back in 2013. What? I’m serious.

About Ernie

I'm the creator of 8 Asians and one of the editors. While I'm a regular blogger to the site as well, think of my role as Barbara Walters on "The View," except without the weird white hair. During the day, I'm a Developer for a major Internet company and live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've also been writing in my blog, littleyellowdifferent.com, for seven years.
