Donations Needed for AAWW’s Page Turner AA Literary Festival

NYC-based Asian American Writers Workshop is seeking to raise $5,000 for its literary festival, Page Turner,  via Kickstarter.

If you haven’t heard of the site, Kickstarter is “a new way to fund creative ideas and ambitious endeavors… powered by a unique all-or-nothing funding method where projects must be fully-funded or no money changes hands.

All donations are tax-deductible and make you eligible to win some cool prizes, including those that highlight Asian American success in a variety of fields like food, writing, gaming, Hollywood, Silicon Valley and more:
  • Signed copy of a script from The Office by Danny Chun, the head writer.
  • Consultation with William Endeavor Morris literary agent Kirby Kim.
  • Signed book from pastry chef Joanne Chang, of Flour bakery in Boston.
  • Hour-long coffees with Silicon Venture investors: Patrick Chung of NEA, Harj Taggar of Y Combinator, Richard de Silva of Highland Capital Partners, David Lee of SV Angel, Puneet Agarwal of True Ventures, Andrew Chun of  Lightspeed Venture Partners, and James Cham of Trinity Ventures.
