First Asian Featured in Louis Vuitton Menswear Campaign

You can’t turn around without seeing an Asian with a Louis Vuitton product. Whether or not they are real is a totally different story. Despite that, using an Asian model in their campaigns would be a good idea, right?

Enter Godfrey Gao.

The dreamy Tawainese-Canadian actor is the first Asian male to be the spokesmodel for the flaunt-worthy luxury brand. Using him is a strategic move considering the company reports that Chinese men spent more on luxury goods than women.

Now that’s a surprise.

Gao’s induction into the world of pretty Asian faces in fashion further fuels our domination of the industry. I hope to follow in his footsteps and become the spokesmodel for Crocs.
