China’s Got Talent may have pianists that play with their feet, and America’s Got Talent might have contestants that try out for American Idol once they get eliminated, but Thailand’s Got Talent has Nuntrita Khampriranon, a twenty-seven year old freelance singer. Female vocalists are nothing unusual on global “[YOUR COUNTRY HERE]’s Got Talent” shows, until she switches from a high female voice to a low male voice in the second verse. While the Thai judges do a double-take, she easily makes it to the next round; compare that to a country like the United States, where it would most likely cause an moral uproar on all the talk shows and a very special week of prayer on The 700 Club.
