The Toronto International Film Festival is in full swing and Indonesia’s The Raid has already been chosen as an “Official Selection” and as THE action flick of the fest — probably because it is dripping with violence, point-blank gunshots, bullets ripping through flesh and, of course, the wonderful country of Indonesia.
That said, enter in your date of birth so you can enjoy the grit and blood of the red band trailer above.
Based on the trailer, I have no idea what this movie is about. All I know is that it has guns, frenetic fight scenes, people in military uniforms, a guy bashing another guy’s face into a wall multiple times, and LOTS of badassness. Because of that, it doesn’t need a plot.
